Five individual ropes, each dyed a solid color, 5' in length each (25' total). See photos of the colors above or check out their individual listings for a detailed description. Available in 30+ colors as well as Natural (not dyed). See photos for options. Please include a note specifying which colors you would like in the Personalization section at checkout. Select the diameter you want from the menu on the right: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" or 1/2". Because of its natural characteristics there can be slight variations in the diameter of the rope. This unoiled sisal rope has been dyed using Procion dye. This is the best quality dyed sisal rope available, and I'll tell you why 1. I use unoiled chemical-free sisal, unlike what you find at most hardware stores. It has no bad odors to begin with, but I pre-wash it with a professional detergent anyhow. Then I dye it. Then I wash it 4 more times at least. I wash dark colors up to 8 times. The dyeing process changes the rope so that the finished product is twisted less tightly. The rope is also softer. 2. I use Procion dye, which is permanent and safe. This is not Rit dye. This is not food coloring. This dye is permanent. You can run the rope through the washer if you want (seriously) or dip it into scalding water. Trust me it aint gonna bleed. It's also non-toxic, which makes it perfectly safe for kids or pets who may put it in their mouths. The dyes are available in about 200 colors, which gives a ton of options for custom orders, which I love to do. The dye affects the three-dimensional qualities of the rope and its texture in remarkable ways a single segment of rope can appear to be a range of colors in different light. It can be very subtle but I love watching how the color can change over the course of the day. 3. Perhaps most importantly, this is the best colored sisal rope available because I'd be ashamed if it wasn't. I'm not building my business by aiming for second best. There's other sisal rope out there but mine is better quality. I've done the research, the trial and error I know what I'm doing. Questions? Message me.
